WHAT IS COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE (CSA)?
A CSA is a partnership between the farmer and community. Families and individuals who join the CSA will receive "shares" of produce each week during the growing season (late May to about mid-October). Most SHARE pick-ups will be at the Farm We also offer FARM pick-ups. This share will consist of weekly bags of fresh vegetables and possibly some fruit and or herbs This ensures high quality, exceptionally fresh produce and plants to members with delivery within days of harvest.
In exchange, the CSA member signs a contract for the season. They agree to pay in advance.
The CSA member shares in the risks and the rewards of small-scale farming such as weather, insect damage, and bumper crops.

We offer Fall/winter, Winter/sping, and Sring/summercShares We offer a limited amount of fruit shares because it is the highest risk for crop failure. One late frost can wipe out a crop of peaches! Weather and pests are a constant concern.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM A FHF PRODUCE CSA?
The weekly harvest share varies from week to week, sometimes even daily. You will get an assortment of 12-15 items for full shares.
The early season, in May and June, will have a light sampling of the crops listed on our What's growingpage. Please note these are the things planted in March and April. Spring rains can cause delays in planting. At the height of our growing season in July/August, a full vegetable share may include but not be limited to the following:
- Sweet corn
- Beans (green yellow wax, shell, etc)
- Tomatoes (varying types and sizes)
- Zucchini
- Squashes
- Pickle cucumbers
- Cucumbers
- Fruit
- Onions
- Herbs
- Many other items (too numerous to list) depending on plantings and weather.

Frog Hollar Farms - Member agreement Summer 2024
Frog Hollar Farms agrees Provide Fresh Produce each Week starting the last week of Sept 15 thru 3rd week of December and that, when possible, all products will be locally grown Frog Hollar may include non-local items as extras or on request
Member agrees to pick=up bag each week at the agreed Time and place any deviations must be made by 5 PM previous day. Member agrees that Quantity and availability is subject to weather and crop conditions and that Frog Hollar Farms may substitute Items from other local farms if needed
Member agrees let FHF know if they are unable to pick-up bag as soon as possible and that bags not picked up may be donated to local charity and member will lose the bag for that week
Member agrees to hold FHF harmless in all matters relating to CSA pick=up and content.
Members will receive 10 % discount from regular item prices all non-CSA purchases at all selling locations for duration of 2024 does not include shares or renewals
Member Food Allergies need to be stated to prevent allergens from being placed in your bag
FHF will make every effort to help you protect you from items that are an issue.
